JRHS senior Hildebrand to play softball at Randolph Macon

Senior Cameron Hildebrand is James River High School’s center fielder on Varsity Softball. On Friday March 8, she celebrated her acceptance and commitment to play softball with Randolph Macon.
As a freshman, she was selected for 1st Team All-Pioneer District and 1st Team All-Conference 38. As a sophomore, she was selected to 1st Team All-Conference 38 and 1st Team All-Region 2C and 2nd Team All-State 2A Outfield. In her junior year, Hildebrand ended the season with a .478 batting average and .705 on-base percentage. She lead the Knights in runs scored and walks. She received 1st Team District and Region honors again, a 1st Team All-State 2A selection and was named to The Roanoke Times All-Timesland 2nd Team list.
Hildebrand will join Randolph-Macon College’s softball program in fall 2019.
