January 15th 2019 — Lieutenant Jeffrey L. Stritesky of Daleville is pleased to announce his Republican candidacy for the office of Botetourt County Sheriff. A married father of two, Jeff Stritesky has called Botetourt County home for over 29 years. He began his career with the US Army in 1984 as a military police officer and has now amassed over 34 years of experience in law enforcement. For the past 23 years, he has been employed by the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office, where he serves as Lieutenant in the Community Services Division. Jeff has been a part of the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office Command Staff for close to a decade. Jeff is known by many in the community, previously serving as a school resource officer at Lord Botetourt High School. His campaign will focus on Community, Integrity and Experience.
