Dick Bailey named to Fincastle District as Supervisor

Local Veterinarian and long time resident Richard G. “Dick “Bailey, DVM has been named to the supervisor’s seat left vacant by the death of Jack Leffel. He will serve the unexpired term.

Bailey is a 1975 grad of Lord Botetourt as well as a graduate of Virginia Tech and the School of Veterinary medicine at Tech. He is retired from Botetourt Animal Hospital, has two grown sons and resides with his wife Kelly in the Trinity area of the Fincastle District.

“Bailey will be a great addition to the board,” according to Supervisor Billy Martin of Blue Ridge.
