Trinity Episcopal offering Parent’s Night Out on Dec. 19
Trinity Episcopal Church in Buchanan is offering a FREE Parent’s Night out on Dec. 19.
The church has missions in the snack mission for Buchanan Elementary as well as a sock and underwear mission for kids. “We decided to expand our ministry out in to the community,” said Maryanne Meloy who heads up children’s Christian education for the church.
Volunteers will staff the night at the church located at19640 Main Street in the Town of Buchanan. The event lasts from 5-8 p.m. “Ages 2years through 5th grade can be accommodated,” said Meloy.
The night includes dinner, art and music.
The art projects for this month include an ornament suitable for the tree or can be given as a gift. Music this month will be by Rev. MarinaGodpadze who plays the guitar and well, she rocks!
Everyone is invited to bring their children. Three hours is enough for a short trip shopping and dinner!
