Kiwanis donates to Carilion Hospital

Hiawatha Nicely, of Daleville is a Botetourt County Kiwanian. He is a past LT Governor and also a Capital District Foundation Director that covers Delaware, Maryland, DC and Virginia. He is pictured here giving a $3,000 check from the Capital District Foundation to Carilion Clinic’s CEO Nancy Howell Agee and also represented is Dr Kimberly Dunsmore, President of the Carilion’s Children’s Hospital.

The Foundation represents 145 Kiwanis Clubs including Botetourt. Nicely said, “We represent 8 children’s hospitals in this footprint. The foundation also supports the Kiwanis International Children’s Foundation with projects around the world.”
