Open Studios is Sat and Sun. Take a ride through Botetourt visiting art studios

Open Studios is Sat and Sun. Oct. 27 ans 28. 14 artists and a nice ride through the county. Art is available for purchase. A number of artists will perform demonstrations of techniques. Everything from Art to sculpture to wood turning and photography.

The artists:
The fourteen participating artists are Linda Atkinson, Lois Miller Bleese, Dreama Kattenbraker, Ed Bordett, Brett LaGue, Nancy Dahlstrom, Vera Dickerson, Courtney Cronin, Claudia de Franko, Dan Jones, Willie Simmons and Mark Woodie. Various mediums are used from wood turning to photography to painting and sculpture.

At the first stop on your self-guided tour,  get a stamped passport to take to each successive studio. At the final stop leave the passport to win a $150 discount certificate on one item.

James River and Lord Botetourt students have provided student art for sale. A portion of these sales benefit the League of Animal Protection in Fincastle.
