Rotary and Tap House to aid Addy Grace Foundation Nov. 5
On Monday, November 5th beginning at 4 p.m. until midnight, the Botetourt Rotary Club and the Tap House Restaurant, will host a Charity Night to benefit the Addy Grace Foundation’s All Abilities Playground to be located at the YMCA at the Daleville Town Center. Ten percent of all meals served during this time will be donated toward this project.
The Addy Grace Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created by a local family to honor their daughter Addy Grace and to raise awareness of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a degenerative nerve disease affecting the part of the nervous system that controls voluntary muscle movement, eventually hindering the ability to stand, eat, speak, breathe and swallow.
The Addy Grace Foundation is working to raise money to build an all abilities playground in Daleville to benefit children and adults in Botetourt and throughout the Roanoke Valley. (The closest all abilities playground is located in Virginia Beach). The YMCA has generously donated the land for this project, and funding is needed for site preparation and equipment. Please consider joining the Botetourt Rotary members for a meal from 4 p.m. until midnight on November 5th to support this worthwhile project.
The Tap House is located at the Daleville Town Center, 90 Town Center Street, Daleville, VA 24083.
The Botetourt Rotary Club expresses our sincere appreciation to the Tap House owners and staff for their generosity and eagerness to assist with this project.
