BoCo Summit wants you! Broadband for the County Seminar Sept. 25-26
One of the draw backs to a rural county is lack of broadband service and fast service at that. For the subdivision on the south end of the county this is not a problem, but for anyone more than 3.5 miles from a Lumos router or off the track of a service like Comcast, the options are few.
For those of us in the hinterland of broadband (like this reporter) the only solutions are expensive, often not reliable and slow.
Botetourt County is looking for solutions for business, education and a more connected populace. Connectivity means something in the 21st Century for growth, for possibilities now and in the future.
Here is an offering that should be of interest to all.
