Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Class Begins August 21 at DSLCC

                Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Welding Program head Michael Bryant will be teaching a Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) course this semester on the Clifton Forge campus. The class will meet on Mondays from 6 to 10 pm in Room 380, Scott Hall, August 21 through November 27.

                Through 40 hours of instruction and hands-on lab training, students will learn GTAW/TIG welding in the flat position and earn the D1.1 American Welding Society 1G GTAQW qualification.

                The tuition fee of $999 includes all instructional materials and qualification testing. No experience is necessary. While funding is available, this course may be only $333 for Virginia residents or as little as $33for qualifying applicants.
