The Botetourt Bee is now accepting Letters to the Editor

After consideration, The Botetourt Bee has decided to begin publishing Letters to the Editor. We have received a few since the ownership transition and believe now is the time to add an opinion section to our digital newspaper. We invite all citizens of Botetourt County to submit their letters to us.

A lot is happening in our community, and we want to encourage civil discourse. Our goal is to allow everyone in Botetourt County the opportunity to voice their opinions, add perspectives, call for action, and express thanks for a community member or organization.

How to Submit:
You can email us at submit@thebotetourtbee.com with ‘Letters to the Editor’ in the subject line or send us a message directly on Facebook. 
Please be sure to include your full name and address. (Only your name and town will be published)

Here are a few recommendations to increase your chances of getting published:
Make sure your topic is local and current.
No defamation (libel).
Keep to 300 words or fewer.
