Local author Rhonda McDonald has written a new book, “Jesus was a Child Like You”

Rhonda McDonald of Troutville is a retired teacher and has written her 25th children’s book. It is called, ” Jesus was a Child Like You.”

“Little is known about Jesus as a child,” says McDonald. This is a fictionalized account of events and things children do set in his time period that feature Jesu s as a little boy. McDonald is a grandmother and wanted this story to be relateable to children everywhere. She has also been a children’s Sunday School teacher and Bible School teacher. Her father was a minister. “My faith is very important to me,” she stated.

The cost of the book is $10.95 and would make a nice addition to not only a child’s library, but cetainly church libraries and Christian Schools.
