Library activities include tree lightings tonight and tomorrow
Date: December 1, 2022 (Botetourt County, VA) – It’s December 1st which means the holidays are officially here! Our Botetourt County Libraries have some incredible events to get you in a festive spirit including:
- 6th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the Eagle Rock Library; Monday, December 5th at 6pm
- 1st Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the Blue Ridge Library; Tuesday, December 6th at 6pm
Each of our tree lightings will have LIVE holiday music from a local pianist PLUS the Eagle Rock Elementary School Chorus will sing on December 5th and the Colonial Elementary School Chorus will sing on December 6th. And rumor is a very famous, jolly old elf in a red suit will make an appearance!
If you want to get some inspiration for holiday dishes, then you won’t want to miss “Ginger Gungas: A Community Cookbook Celebration” on Wednesday, December 7th at 10:30am at the Buchanan Library.
You can also catch our library staff at the following community events:
- Fincastle Town Parade; Saturday, December 3rd at 2pm
- Town of Buchanan Parade; Saturday, December 10th at 4pm
- Botetourt Farmer’s Holiday Market; December 17th, 8am-noon
