Tina McConchie Art Reception at Lackey Studio
Discover the amazing work of Tina McConchie, Pastel Artist. The artist’s exhibit, “Seasonal Riches – The Fall and Winter Landscape in Pastel” features truly breath-taking fall and winter landscapes fitting for the fall season.
A “Meet and Greet the Artist” reception will be held on Saturday, October 23rd from 11 a.m. until 2 pm. at the gallery’s new location 1432 Roanoke Road, Daleville, VA with hot apple cider and soup being served.
Tina McConchie is a self-taught artist and designated Master Pastelist with the prestigious Pastel Society of America. She is the recipient of numerous national and regional awards and honors. Her portraits and landscapes are included in museums, public and private collections throughout the East Coast and in the United Kingdom.
The artist paints exclusively in the pastel medium, creating works inspired by the play of light upon land, sea, and sky. The artists states, “My art springs from a deeply personal place, a quiet contemplation of thought and emotions. Painting serves as my dialogue with nature and a joyous expression of self. I am pleased to offer my work for the viewer’s pleasure, and invite you to share in my artistic vision.”

Patrons and fans of the artist are encouraged to attend the artist reception on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 from 11 am until 2 pm or the exhibit may be viewed at any time during the month of October when the gallery is open.
