Botetourt shined at Roanoke- Blacksburg Technology Tech Nite
Last Thursday night August 26, Botetourt County had a BIG night at the Roanoke – Blacksburg Technology Council “Tech Nite 2021”! Our very own Board of Supervisors member Amy White took home the prestigious Regional Leadership Award” and Town of Fincastle’s very own Micro Harmonics took home the coveted “Rising Star” Award!
TechNite is the annual celebration of the Roanoke – Blacksburg region’s technology community. It’s an opportunity to network with leaders in business and innovation. The evening included a keynote speaker and awards presentation to celebrate the leaders, innovators, and successful companies within the regional technology community. Thank you to Mary and her team for putting together such an amazing night to recognize these leaders. (For information about RBTC, visit: https://rbtc.tech/)
We are so proud of Amy, Dave and Diane and wanted to take a minute to share a #bocobrag with all of you along with some photos that you are welcome to use.
For more information about Micro Harmonics, visit their website (they make components for NASA – cool stuff): https://www.microharmonics.com/
Also, did you know that Ms. White is also the Dean of the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics at Virginia Western Community College? She is a Botetourt County native and we couldn’t be more proud of her! For more information about VWCC’s STEM program, visit: https://www.virginiawestern.edu/academics/engineering-mechatronics/
