TAP lists programs available to qualifying individuals
Over 5,000 Botetourt County residents are getting help from Botetourt Social Services according to a report at the July Board of Supervisors meeting.

- Happening now: Head Start is now enrolling children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old.
- Now-2022: Certified Nurse Aide class enrollment in Roanoke
- Now-October: Certified Nurse Aide class enrollment in Clifton Forge and Covington.
- Now-Aug. 5: Our Project Discovery program is offering a fun summer camp for youth ages 12-18.
- Now-Aug. 6: Nominations are open for the 2021 Cabell Brand Hope Award. Submit yours by August 6.
- Now-Aug. 12: Free meals for kids are available every Tuesday and Thursday in Roanoke.
- Now-Aug. 19: Free meals for kids are available every Thursday in Covington.
- August 21: Free Homebuyer Class.
- Book Donations: We are continuing to accept book donations. Find a location near you.
- Aug. 23-Nov. 9 and Oct. 11-Dec. 14: Enroll in our Certified Nurse Aide program happening during these dates at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College.
