Khari Ryder is New Executive Director at Botetourt Chamber of Commerce
FINCASTLE — On February 24, 2021, the Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to appoint Khari Ryder as the Executive Director of the Chamber.
Mr. Ryder brings a wide skill set to this role. He has served as Finance Director at Total Action Against Poverty (TAP), project manager and research and development specialist for Stik-Pak Solutions, principal at Principal Endeavors, LLC, and Adjunct Professor for Midway University. He is also the founder of Equine Endeavors, a business that brings together his extensive knowledge of equine education, training, and open judging.
He is a proven business leader, academic and management consultant. He also has completed his Doctoral course work in Education (Ed.D.) with a focus in Organizational Leadership. The Board is looking forward to his leadership at the Chamber.
With this appointment, Keith Hartman will resume his position as Secretary and as a Board member and continue his work as Regional Executive for the Virginia Council of CEOs. The Board appreciates the contributions Mr. Hartman has made as Interim Executive Director and looks forward to his continued involvement with the Chamber.
