“We’d like to thank every coach, mentor and the Botetourt community as a whole on this wonderful day where Bryson commits to further his academic and football career at Charleston Southern University and the Big South Conference. It is truly a credit to the whole community “village”.  We look forward to watching Bryson grow and succeed under the great leadership of the Charleston Southern coaches and administration over the next few years. “

The Hortons

As Troy’s parents it has been an amazing journey to watch him grow up and realize his dream of playing college football. We could not be more proud of his athletic accomplishments as well as the fine young man and diligent student he has become. He has proven that hard work, dedication, and working through adversity builds character and makes your dreams a reality. Go Appalachian State!” –The Everettes

“Colston has worked very hard in the classroom and on the field.  His daily choices have given him the opportunity to earn a college education and to play football at Appalachian State University.  We would like to thank LBHS’s teachers, trainers and coaches for their care, direction, and leadership.  A special thanks to Coach  Harless.” From Shane and Denise, proud parents.

We as the community of students, faculty and staff, alumni and residents in the Lord Botetourt District and beyond are very proud of the successes of all of these young men! Congratulations
