Foodie Friday: Quick Casserole in the Crockpot
Have a hectic day going. maybe virtually homeschooling? This is one of our favorite meals paired with a salad or slaw, fresh veggies of choice and bread. Cooks on high in about two hours. And, oh so simple!
Hamburger GBP
1 pound of lean ground beef with 1 tsp Montreal seasoning cooked to pink and crumbled. (Microwave works I add juices to the casserole)
1 bag seasoned Simply potatoes
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 jar Heinz beef gravy
Montreal Seasoning
Using Pam, spray the Crock pot. Layer potatoes, then green beans, then ground beef/juices. Sprinkle with more Montreal Seasoning. Cook on high for at least an hour and half. Top with Gravy. Cook 30 more minutes on high. Serves 4-5. Of course this can be cooked in the oven more quickly, but it is sooo hands-free this way!
Spice it up with a dash or two of A-1!
