Help for New Freedom Farm from Botetourt Citizens Defense Group
The Community has stepped up to help New Freedom Farm after it was flooded last week. The whole front roadside fence was washed away, plus much associated damage around the farm. Helping Veterans through horses almost came to a stop..
On Saturday June 20, 28 members of Citizens Defense Group in Botetourt County, a militia unit formed this past winter showed up in a big way. They worked for a good long day performing tasks like repairing fencing, hay moving, cleaned the barn of mud and debris and helped fix the washed out driveway.
