Cavalier Athletic Club Awards Scholarships at LBHS
Board members of the Cavalier Athletic Club presented 4 student athletes with $500 scholarships. We have 1 other scholarship that we will be awarding but the recipient was out of town last night. We were excited to be able to give these students $2500 to put towards their future education. These scholarships are made possible by community donations, concessions, and membership.
Our recipients are:
Kenleigh Gunter, Basketball, Volleyball and Softball. She will be
continuing her volleyball career at Randolph College
Mary-Randall Plunkett, Soccer and Volleyball. She will be attending
the University of Tennessee in the fall.
Meredith Wells, Softball and Basketball. Meredith will continue her
softball career at JMU.
James Ryan Salvi, Football and Basketball. James Ryan will
continue his football career at Hampden-Sydney.
