Health Dept. updates noted

Starting Monday, March 30th, 2020, our Local Health Departments will be open only to those with scheduled appointments and pre-arranged pick-ups and deliveries. 

If you have a need for health department services, please call your respective local health department first and we will guide and assist you as needed. Critical services will be delivered by telehealth, telephone, or other virtual mechanisms wherever possible. If an appointment is scheduled, visitors and clients will be screened for symptoms and a fever.

Special Note about WIC: ALL WIC food benefits will continue, but visits will be completed exclusively over the telephone. We will call clients at their scheduled appointment times. Clients are asked to stay at home and not visit the office. This is in effect through July 15, 2020.

We are committed to continuing all critical services while protecting our patients, clients, visitors, and staff during this time. Our epidemiological staff, Medical Reserve Corps, and support staff are working to support the positive COVID-19 cases in our community.

RCAHD has established a Regional Call Center, available to the PUBLIC Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm at 1-855-949-8378. The VDH Call Center is available as well: 1-877-ASK-VDH3.   

As the pandemic continues to unfold in our community, further program restrictions and/or temporary program closures at RCAHD may become necessary.
