250th Anniversary events postponed due to Covid-19

The list continues to mount of cancelled and postponed events. The 250th anniversary is no exception.

The Colonial/frontier encampment set for this upcoming weekend has been cancelled.

Donna Vaughn also reports, “The 250th Anniversary Committee is postponing the May 30th event at the Courthouse Square for the dedication of the 250th monument due to the COVID-19 outbreak and quarantine. No new date has been set as yet, but we are looking at at Saturday in late summer.
