Bank of Botetourt Welcomes Midkiff as Director of Merchant Services

Bank of Botetourt is pleased to welcome Adam H. Midkiff as Director of Merchant Services. Midkiff has over thirteen years of experience in the banking industry and was previously with HomeTown Bank. Adam is located at the Peters Creek Office and will travel around the region to meet with new and existing clients. 

Bank President and CEO, G. Lyn Hayth, III said, “expanding the Bank’s merchant services program with the hiring of an officer to focus exclusively on growing this revenue stream is part of our overall strategic plan. We feel there is untapped potential in our market areas to grow the number of participating merchants who prefer a local and personal touch.”Midkiff is active in the Valley Youth Hockey Association and in his free time enjoys hockey, fly fishing and hiking. Adam is from Prince William County, Virginia and currently resides in the Back Creek area of Roanoke with his wife Andrea and their three children Sofia, Amalia and Tomás.

Bank of Botetourt was chartered in 1899 and operates twelve retail offices in Botetourt, Rockbridge, Roanoke, and Franklin counties and the City of Salem, all in Virginia.
