Photos: Lord Botetourt over Byrd 29-7 in Regional quarter final
Lord Botetourt pulled out a 29-7 win over William Byrd. A lackluster first half full of penalties and turnovers, left the Cavs in a seldom seen spot. At the half after a blocked field goal by the Terriers the score was 7-7. After what was likely a “rousing talking to” at the half no doubt, by head coach Jamie Harless, the Cavaliers came out to score 22 points in the 2nd half.
Next comes the winner of Hidden Valley and Christiansburg one week from Friday night in Cavalier Stadium.
