Botetourt Farmers Market opens May 4 at the DTC
Botetourt Fsrmers Market opens on May 4!
The hours of the Farmers Market this year will be 8:30am – 12:30 pm and will be located in the lot between the Bank of Botetourt and Rodeo Chico.
We are expecting a dozen plus vendors this Saturday, and will be featuring fantastic new items this season such as wine from Virginia Mountain Vineyards (Fincastle), honey from our own Botetourt Beekeepers, artisan copper crafts from Caldwell Mountain Copper, cheese, and fresh bread. In addition, we will have all our old favorites including fresh cut flowers, produce, local grass-fed beef, bakery treats, fresh donuts, local crafts, and live music.
Kids Day this year will be held on July 20th!
We’re currently working on gaining increased community support to build a permanent structure for our Farmers Market to support our local citizens and agriculture.
