Celebrate the reason for the season with devotional written by local author
Ashley Setterlind is a young mother with a baby girl, Ada. She is a JRHS grad as well as a graduate of Liberty University. Setterlind has developed a Bible study devotional for the Christmas season. The daughter of Pastor Kevin Cummings of Fincastle Baptist Church and the wife of the youth pastor, Jordan Setterlind, she is vested in her faith. She like her mother Terri Cummings, has a true heart for Jesus and the season of his birth. She has a blog and writes frequently about her faith and life and motherhood.
Here is what Ashley has to say from her blog:
“Remember how last week I mentioned a “cool project” coming your way soon?! Well, it’s here!! I’ve been working hard on writing a Christmas devotional over the past few months, and I’m releasing it on my website for FREE.”
“Join me for five days sometime during the remainder of this season as we look forward to the celebration of our Savior’s birth. You can download the e-book on my website below!”
“I’d love it if you’d share this free resource with your friends!”
p.s. “This is not motherhood related! This devotional is for everyone.”
p.p.s. “Huge shout out to my talented husband for creating the artwork for this project! I betcha didn’t know he could draw, too.”

Editor’s note: We hope you enjoy the occasional bit of church related information here in The Botetourt Bee. I am mighty impressed with Ashley’s drive at 24 to write about her faith. We celebrate all author sand their work often. She is a budding writer who will go far, we believe.
