Buchanan Christmas Parade brought season cheer

Bailee did not like the sound of the tractors, but Camdyn and McKenzie ( see first photo) seemed interested and thus began the set-up for the annual Buchanan Christmas parade. Lead by the color guard from the Botetourt Sheriff’s Department, it was seasonal cheer for a half hour. Both high school bands from LBHS and JRHS, as well as Kazim Klowns, Jellystone Park characters, Firetrucks, a robot, church floats, FFA, Veterans, Businesses, kids, adults and yes, three different Santas.  VDOT painted snow plows by local elementary schools were a portent of things to come.  A fun day for  all on the eve of the big snow!
