He authored the book, Changing Keys: Keyboard Instruments for America,1700-1830, and is currently completing a reproduction of George Washington’s harpsichord for the Mount Vernon Foundation.
A delicious buffet dinner will be served, and the historical society’s annual awards will be presented, in addition to the keynote address. The dinner is a fundraiser for the historical society and helps provide the funding that allows the Botetourt County Historical Museum to be open seven days per week.
Everyone is invited to purchase a ticket and attend the dinner. For further information, please contact the historical society at 473-8394 or at wmartin@botetourtva.gov.
