The Botetourt Bee announces four columnists that will provide different views from Botetourt County.
Anita Firebaugh is a Virginia Press Award winning reporter. Her specialty will be news items, many of them governmental in nature, but definitely about Botetourt issues. Her first column is about Fire and EMS in the county.
Priscilla Richardson will write people columns and play reviews for Attic Productions. She has penned two books. She is always looking for interesting people who live here.
Courtney Henderson a recent graduate of VA Tech, lives and works on a dairy farm in Botetourt County. She will follow the agriculture aspect and writing about topics from her own farm experiences as well as others.
Chad Parries former So Salem community journalist will cover the outdoor aspects of items Botetourt citizens find interesting, be it local sports, hunting, fishing, the Upper James Water Trail, hiking, etc or something we find interesting on a grander scale.
Most often these columns and articles will publish on Wednesdays.
